GotGame

GotGame is a next generation community and content delivery platform for hardcore gamers. Through GotGameU, we’re building a grassroots team that will help promote our product, recruit beta testers, learn marketing strategies and play video games.

GotGameU is an online, 10-week internship focused on marketing, writing and graphic design. Interns work on blogs, online guerrilla marketing, event planning, buzz marketing, promotional materials, and much more.

We offer hands on experience, a supportive management team that has over forty years of experience in gaming and marketing and an opportunity for a full-time, paid internship in our headquarters in San Francisco. This position may also qualify as a for-credit internship.

We seek juniors and seniors, as well as recent graduates, who are intelligent, motivated, fun and passionate about gaming.

We believe in the importance of recruiting interns from a variety of backgrounds: gaming, writing, graphic design, coding and marketing.

If you are a clan leader or competitive gamer, then this is the company for you. You will be working alongside some of the most accomplished professional gamers in the world. Our interns will help us change the face of the gaming world.

• Research GotGame’s competitive landscape

• Brainstorm creative ways to market GotGame

• Create flyers, posters, online banners, t-shirts and other marketing materials

• Build GotGame’s fan groups on Facebook, MySpace and YouTube

• Manage on-site promotions at gaming tournaments and college campuses

• Work with sponsors to develop creative advertising opportunities across the GotGame network

• Work with the quality assurance team to test the application

The unusual online format of the internship is unrestrictive, yet still challenging and rewarding. We have plenty of engaging, hands-on assignments to keep busy with, but the option to do them on our time. I also learned what ‘set nades’ are. Pwned. –Jillian
